Expert support for a healthy and joyful pregnancy.
Expert support for a healthy and joyful pregnancy.
Meraday Doulas is dedicated to improving BIPOC maternal health outcomes and empowering families throughout the childbirth journey. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to expecting parents in Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding communities, ensuring every family receives the care they deserve.
We believe that every birthing person deserves personalized care and guidance to ensure a positive experience.

Founded in response to the growing need for holistic maternal support, Meraday Doulas is a community-based organization staffed by highly trained professionals. Our doulas offer prenatal education, continuous labor support, and postpartum assistance, focusing on physical, emotional, and informational needs. We work collaboratively with healthcare providers to create a seamless experience for BIPOC families and advocate for positive birth outcomes.
We are passionate about providing exceptional pregnancy care because we know firsthand how transformative and life-changing the journey to motherhood can be. Our founder, Myrtice, experienced a difficult pregnancy and struggled to find the support and care she needed as a BIPOC birthing person. She decided to create Meraday Doulas to ensure that no other BIPOC would have to go through pregnancy alone.

At Meraday Doulas, we believe in putting our clients first and treating them with compassion, respect, and empathy. We are committed to providing evidence-based care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety. We also believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth to ensure that we are always providing the best possible care to our clients.
Despite advancements in healthcare, many BIPOC families still face barriers to quality childbirth support, particularly those from marginalized communities. Studies show that doula care can reduce rates of medical interventions, improve maternal mental health, and increase satisfaction with the birth experience. In Georgia, access to doula services remains limited for low-income families and immigrants.

Doulas are trained professionals who provide physical, emotional, and informational support to individuals and families before, during, and after childbirth.
